This colour is called “ink” and I liked it so much that I also got it in a sage green colour called “herbal”.
I also got these same colours in the Kinnersly scoop neck tee (which I will post about in the future) and I just wanted to note that the tanks fit a little smaller than the tees, especially in the armhole area.
I love dark navy. It’s so dark that it almost looks black and black goes with everything, so you can safely bet that dark navy does too.
Country flag designers seem to have already figured this one out. Or is it because of our country flag colours that we think red and navy look good together…?
This little red bag came with a long shoulder strap that I shortened to wear as a mini shoulder bag, which I find to be much more practical. If you’d like to do the same to yours, check out this tutorial post.
This basic sleeveless style top looks really good with high waisted flowy midi length skirts and cropped wide leg pants.
Finish with simple slides or ballerina flats and you have yourself a sweet sweeping Princess Cinderella look. Practical yet chic.

Or play it safe with high waisted jeans. Finish off with sneakers for a cool, laidback look but I’m a boot kind of girl and because the outfit is more on the casual side, I personally like to dress up the foot department.
This last outfit is probably my favourite. It’s not that I think it looks the best out of all these outfits and I can’t really put my finger on why I like it so much so I’m just going to leave it down here for you to analyse yourself.
I hope you’ve been inspired to try styling your basic dark navy tank top in a different way. I’d love to know your go-to look with this wardrobe staple.
