I’ve tried so many different cleaning methods, shoe cleaners and polishers to remove black marks from my Nike Air Force 1 sage low sneakers and finally found success with Orange Power – sticky spot & goo dissolver.

It’s an orange solvent and in Australia, you can find this in the aisle with household cleaning products in Woolworths or Coles.

It has a nice orange smell to it and all you need is a little bit on a paper towel to easily remove black scuff marks from your white shoes.

Now if you’re not in Australia and have difficulty finding this item, nail polish remover also works but you may have to put in a bit more elbow grease to the stubborn scuff marks.

Don’t forget to protect your clean white shoes with a protectant cream or spray after cleaning.

I haven’t tried this product on coloured shoes yet but if you do want to give it a go, please make sure you spot test first.
